Privacy Policy

The short version

There are no accounts on this site, no sign-up, and no submission forms. Every calculator runs in your own browser, and what you type into one never leaves your device. The site does serve advertising, and advertising involves cookies — that part is described in full below.

What the calculators do with your input

Every tool on this site — the world clock, converters, and calculators — runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Dates, birthdays, times, and timestamps you enter are processed on your device and are not transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. Countdown share links encode the target time in the link itself rather than in any database.

Some tools remember a display preference on your device using your browser's local storage — for example, whether you last viewed the world clock in 12-hour or 24-hour format, or a saved habit streak or routine in tools like Habit Clock and Routine Builder. This stays in your browser, is not sent anywhere, and can be cleared through your browser's settings along with cookies and site data.

The world clock, weather, and city pages request current conditions and sunrise times from the Open-Meteo public weather API. That request includes the coordinates of the city being displayed. Where you have explicitly granted location permission for the weather tool, it includes your approximate coordinates instead; that permission is only ever requested when you press the button asking for it, and can be revoked in your browser at any time.

Information collected automatically

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained only as long as the hosting provider's standard log rotation.

Advertising and cookies

The site is funded by display advertising. We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google.

Analytics

The site uses aggregate analytics to understand which pages are used and which are not. What is recorded is limited to page views, referring pages, and country-level location. It is not used to identify individuals, is not combined with advertising data by us, and no analytics profile is built about you.

Cookies you can control

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies does not affect the site's tools — every calculator works with cookies fully disabled. It affects only whether the advertising you see is personalized.

Children's privacy

The site is a general-audience reference site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No accounts, profiles, or submissions exist anywhere on the site. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a message sent to the address below, contact us and it will be deleted.

Your rights

Because the site holds no accounts and no user database, there is generally no personal data of yours for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on request. If you have emailed us, that correspondence exists in our mailbox and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time. Requests about advertising data held by Google should be directed to Google through the links above.

Links to other sites

Pages occasionally link to external references. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

If the site's data practices change — for example, if a new advertising or analytics provider is added — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date revised.
